“When people walk in the door, they’re at their most courageous; they’ve seen the worst of themselves and they still have fight in them. Our goal is to match that in every way we can.” – Jennifer Angier, CEO

FRN Atlanta offers comprehensive non-residential addiction treatment in the form of an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). We approach substance abuse as a disease, a belief that permeates everything we do. As a result, we treat our patients with the same dignity and respect afforded to anyone else in need of treatment, creating a supportive atmosphere where people are viewed as individuals.

CARF logoFRN Atlanta’s high quality of care has earned them a three year CARF accreditation. Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, CARF provides accreditation services worldwide at the request of health and human service providers. To receive accreditation, providers must meet CARF standards and demonstrate their commitment to being among the best available.

A Dual Diagnosis Model

Our Dual Diagnosis treatment approach addresses an individual’s addictive disease as well as any psychiatric issues, approaching both as two separate entities but also treating them simultaneously.Part of the Foundations Recovery Network, our treatment model has been tested and proven through 11 federally funded research studies. Compared to the national average of traditional programs, this model demonstrates twice the success rate for maintaining sobriety one year post-treatment.

We are a full-service outpatient facility, offering everything from assessments and intervention assistance to alternative sentencing and aftercare monitoring.

A Comprehensive, Customizable Program

We offer daytime and evening programs, giving patients the ability to mix and match to fit their schedules, attending as many or as few sessions as needed. Groups include psycho-educational, process, lecture, stress management, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) skills and holistic treatment options ranging from tai chi and cooking to equine therapy and music lessons.

We work closely with other care providers in our community to ensure the best program to meet an individual’s specific needs. For those who enter our program in need of additional medical care, we can create a customized Partial Hospitalization program. We also offer Ambulatory Detox as part of our overall care management package. For those who wish to attend our program from out of the area, we provide a Partial Residential option though our relationship with some of the best recovery residence houses in the country. If a new patient has a relationship with their referring therapist or physician, they can continue to see them if appropriate, and we will reimburse for those costs as necessary. One of a patient’s sessions can be with an outside therapist, and if they don’t have a therapist, we can find one that is the right fit for them.
